Porsche revealed its latest addition, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS, at the Los Angeles Auto Show on 17 November 2021. The car, described by Porsche as “lightweight”, “agile” and with “sophisticated aerodynamics”, is set to hit the road in 2022.
We’ve taken a look at the new flagship model’s features, how much the car is priced at and when deliveries will become available.
Features of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS
The car features a high-revving mid-mounted engine with a 1,415kg kerb weight. The flat-six engine revs up to 9,000rpm.
The car can go from 0 to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds and has a maximum speed of 315km/h.
While the RS version offers a large range of features to make it stand out from the 718 Cayman GT4, Porsche has described the RS as the “most uncompromising and sharpest member of the 718 family”.

How much is it?
While the 718 Cayman GT4 costs £76,530, the 2022 GT4 RS starts at £108,370. Porsche also announced the arrival of the Clubsport model of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS, which is priced at £169,815.
When will the RS be released?
Being the fastest street-legal Cayman ever, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS is available for purchase as a daily-use car.
While the model has only just been revealed, it will still be some months before you’ll see the GT4 RS on the road. However, deliveries are set to begin in March 2022.
